Your lessons are normally scheduled for the morning, leaving you free to relax in the afternoons. Obviously, once your lessons have finished for the day, your time is your own. However, if you would like to spend time with our family to practice your social English and join in with our activities you will always be welcome to do so.

If you wish to spend time alone you are welcome to make use of our peaceful roof terraces to relax or study. Alternatively you may wish to explore the island alone, and we would be happy to recommend places to visit. We can also arrange car hire if you prefer to be more independent.

Gozo is one of the few truly unspoilt havens of the Mediterranean, providing a place of peace, quiet and total relaxation and as such, an ideal place to combine language learning with a relaxing holiday.

Gozo boasts some of the most picturesque scenery of all the Maltese islands, and is a great place to find beautiful beaches and countryside.

If you would like to relax and unwind with a massage or reflexology we can arrange an appointment with a fully qualified British therapist who offers a wide range of treatments and therapies at very reasonable rates.

Recreational activities

We can arrange a variety of activities for you to choose from and will always try to accommodate any special requests. These may include:
A jeep tour of the island to see the local beauty spots and breathtaking scenery.

Swimming and sunbathing on some of the island’s beautiful beaches.
Visiting local places of historical interest, including the Neolithic temples of Ggantija, calypso’s cave and ta’ kola windmill.

A day trip to Malta to explore the historical capital of Valletta, or shopping trips to Sliema.

A boat trip to discover the island of Comino and the Blue lagoon.
Horseriding – through the unspoilt hills and valleys of the Gozo countryside.
Squash, tennis and badminton courts are available at the nearby sports complex in Victoria.

Spa facilities are available at hotels on the island and are available to day visitors.

Diving and swimming - Gozo offers some of the best diving in the Mediterranean, with dive sites to suit all tastes and levels,  from the novice to the more experienced diver. For swimming, you can choose between secluded rocky inlets or popular bays and beaches, including the nearby beach of Ramla il-Hamra, with its expanse of beautiful red sand and warm, clear, blue sea.

Countryside walks - Gozo is excellent for walking and the island is criss-crossed by tracks and lanes. Because the island is small, it is possible to explore most of the island on foot. The climate is perfect for walking in Spring and Autumn, when it’s also at its prettiest with an abundance of wildflowers and lemon groves.
